Range and Event Waiver

Required acceptance to attend events, read, then click the acceptance tab during purchase.

By purchasing any of the offered memberships or entries into any event or class, related to any of our related businesses, ( Ebersole Enterprises LLC, Paradise Pass LLC., Single Action Shooting Society also DBA's of Two Bear Arms Gun Shop, Paradise Pass Regulators) you hereby agree and accept the terms and conditions listed below.

You agree and understand all information within this document and agree to all terms and rules stated here and upon the property and agree to abide by all rules and safety measures. You fully understand and accept that any activity on this property involves firearms, ammunition, and accessories can pose a direct or indirect danger to you, and or minors in your care, and or the property you have brought onto the property. You understand that these risks could include minor injuries, property damage or even death or any combination of these. You accept and this is full evidence based on your checking of the mandatory box during your order and the completion of your order via your payment serves as evidence of identity. Do not complete your purchase if you do not agree or accept all the terms listed.

You agree to and this serves as an instruct to your heirs and or power of attorneys that you have agreed to hold harmless any person, property, property owner, lean holder, manufacturer, volunteer, officer, official, participants, sponsors, advertisers, of and all the above companies listed in this complete agreement. This agreement and waiver will include also any future companies or persons involved with any event or portion of event or product on these property. This waiver also releases liability of any party in the event of an infectious virus such as Covid-19 or any variant or any other known or unknown infectious virus. You agree to indemnify all parties listed within the scope of this document.

You fully understand and agree that if any direct or indirect action on your part or the part of any minor in your care causes any damage or harm to any persons or property that you are completely financially responsible for the timely compensation foresaid actions. You waive all defense options if negligence is proven to be the result of your actions or the actions of anyone or item in your care or authority. This is agreed to upon your checking of the read and agree box within you entry and confirmed by your purchase. Minors within your care or other entries that you are purchasing for and or bringing as a guest are bound within the scope of this agreement under your liability as described, including but not limited to your vehicles, guests, and or pets.

You agree to the follow all standard safety rules based on the activity to which you are participating in or observing. You will follow any and all instructions from those overseeing the event and the range. If you are using a unsupervised range area, you understand and will not breech any standard safety rules as set forth as customary for the event type you are on the property for. We require all SASS and NRA rules of safe involvement be adhered to in full and completely. See the SASS website and the NRA website, also our section within our website for specific rules to our events and properties, for complete rules and common safety practices. You acknowledge and confirm by purchase that you are familiar with these rules and will comply.

This agreement and waiver are a binding agreement and will be in affect from the date of your purchase until the expiration date of the event that you have signed up for. Not withstanding memberships purchased are valid for one year from date of purchase and this agreement and waiver will be binding for that term. Any dated shooting event or training class this agreement shall be in full force for those dates and any affects caused from attendance of those dates.

No changes, alterations, exemptions or exceptions are permitted outside this agreement, unless in writing and agreed to by both parties.

Range Rules for Paradise Pass & Two Bear Arms

General Rules

Range Rules for competitive events (SASS based)

All competition events held at Paradise Pass are scored by total time only.

This is a Cold Range and requires all actions open on long guns until at the load table. All pistols must remain empty until at the load table ( exception granted to all designated security team members and all law enforcement). All muzzles must not sweep another person and the 170 degree rule is in full affect. Extra care is required when stowing guns in your carts, placing on or removing from your vehicle or RV, or removing from the cases. Any violation on this rule can result in a Stage DQ, repeated offenses can result in a Match DQ. All SASS rules by current version are in full affect.

Penalties assessed / All SASS rules apply

5 second Penalty-----Missed Targets

10 second penalties

Procedural (unintentional error of sequence of targets or scenario.)

Leaving empty or live round in magazine or carrier of a long gun.

Open and empty firearm that slips off and falls not breaking the 170 degree or sweeping rule.

Stage DQ

Sweeping someone with unloaded firearm or violation of 170 degree rule.

Accidental discharge within 5 to 10 ft. of competitor, or unsafe discharge.

Dropped Unloaded firearm.

Live round left in firearm in chamber or under hammer.

Loss of control of a cocked firearm.

Travelling with firearm in battery or hammer down on live round.

Match DQ

Any conduct deemed unsportsman like, negligent, unsafe, (note; The range manager or their agents, reserves the right to, cause complete ejection from the property for gross violations of safety and this is at their sole discretion, no refunds of any type are offered for these incidents).

2 stage DQ’s

Dropping a loaded firearm.

Accidental discharge from 0 to 5 ft. of competitor.

Sweeping anyone with a loaded firearm.

Any rounds that exit the berm area.

Accidental discharge of any firearm at any time while on the property.

Safety rules

Eye and ear protection is required beyond the Clubhouse during live fire. This includes vendors and spectators located on the walking paths or closer to the stage.

All competitors must sign the liability waiver located in the clubhouse or electronically with entry.

No alcohol may be consumed prior to or during live fire on the range, range director or their agent will declare when the range is considered cold, then alcoholic beverages can be consumed.

Any accidental discharge on the property by any firearm at any time (see acceptation above in Stage DQ instructions.) is a Match DQ.

All protests must take place prior to leaving the unload table and the Match Director and their protest committee will be the final word on all protests.

For all non-SASS events, standard NRA safety practices are the default position on this property, unless instructed otherwise. You must be familiar with these rules prior to touching a loaded firearm.

A Valid State Identification Card (Example: Drivers License) may be required at time of registration to verify age, sex or residency. This is to ensure accuracy during scoring.

Match Directors are determined prior to any event and work at the pleasure of the ownership.

Other house keeping

Veteran Brass Rats are provided by Harrison Center Church for SASS events. This group has been with us for over 8 years. All tips collected by your Posse Leader will assist them on missions trips.

Paradise Pass does not subscribe to shooting in order. We feel each shooter can have the freedom to decide when they feel ready to shoot. So no posse shall require shooting in order.

ALL PETS on the property (except Yogi & Bear, because they use this as their official address and their girlfriend Cheyenne ) MUST be tethered for the complete event or in a cage or RV.

Any messes made by your pets needs to be cleaned up or far from travel routes on foot.

No dump station is available on the property.

Trash (bagged please) can be placed in the large dumpster by the drive or located around the property for larger events, please do not stuff trash bags into the plastic garbage cans.

Paradise Pass LLC. reserves the right to deny any application or person for any reason. This is a privately held corporation and also private property. Your attendance is not guaranteed. Also any behavior deemed inappropriate by management will result in possible arrest, disqualification, and or expulsion from the property. No refunds are guaranteed.
