A destination for SASS Shooting
Our Story
In 2005 the local SASS club wanted a new home that was dedicated to Cowboy Action Shooting and that could provide a bigger venue. In the fall of 2005 a group of dedicated cowboys dove into the task of turning a open field and woods line into a Cowboy club. Working thru the winter until late in the night, with borrowed equipment, an amazingly small budget, and nothing short of exhaustion this awesome group got the first 5 stages ready for the first ever shoot in March of 2006.
Since then we have grown only due to our amazing PPR Crew, customers, and the love of the game ! We host the Indiana State Championship ( since 2008), Monthly events year round, Black Powder Special events and several other exciting events throughout the year. We hosted the 2021 End of Trail World Championship with over 500 shooters.
We now have 15 very generous sized bays (Stages), a 300 yard long range with a awesome bunch of steel targets on it, including a full size bear ! A great clubhouse that has a full restroom and shower, air conditioning, scoring office, and plenty of seating. A great pond, several cabins owned by shooters, 2 campground areas that can hold over 150 campers, parking for over 500 vehicles all on a 30+ acre property that is privately owned by CC Moonshine & Misty Moonshine. This is also the home to Two Bear Arms Gun Shop and range.
Two Bear Arms Gun shop maintains an inventory of hundreds of firearms, it's own pistol range behind the shop, gunsmith services, custom Kydex holsters built right in site, and a huge amount of optics and also soft goods such as Benchmade knives, gun cases, cleaning kits, lights, calls, and general hunting related items.
This combination has blessed us as more then a group of businesses, we have become a destination and we absolutely love all that we do. We are also blessed with all of the employees in our shops and with the unbelievable group of cowboys and girls ( The world famous PPR Crew) that help keep this club running !
We are now located just 15 minutes from the NEW SASS World Headquarters !
